Rebranding Myself
Have you ever looked at something and thought “Eh, that's okay, but just not for me”? Maybe it was a prom dress, AirPods, or even broccoli. For me, it was my portfolio. I would look at it and think that it did not represent who I am and where I want to go.
What did I do about this? I started from scratch. I made myself a new logo and revamped my website. My logo may seem like a lot of words, but it is symbolic to me. It is in the spiral shape of a nautilus shell which is something that never stops growing much like myself. For my website, I wanted to show my personality right away which is what led me to using the video of myself skydiving. I felt that it was a much better representation of myself than a posed, smiling picture. In order words, I would much rather yeet myself out of a plane at 13,000 ft. than do a photoshoot. The last aspect of my new and improved portfolio that I want to touch on is the usage of gifs because c’mon who doesn’t love a good gif?
The old portfolio.
This video is a run through of my old portfolio which is just a tad boring if you ask me, and I’m the one that made it… yikes!
The new logo.
I am all about self-growth, and this logo is meant to represent just that. A spiral never stops growing and I don’t plan on stopping either.
